Do I need to be an experienced speaker?
No. If you have useful experience to share, we want to hear from you. POW! values practical expertise over polish, and it can be a great first speaking opportunity.
What kinds of sessions are you looking for?
Sessions that teach a process, system, framework, or workflow that has worked in a real practice. The best proposals solve a common operational or clinical-practice challenge and give attendees templates, examples, or next steps they can use right away.
When is the submission deadline?
The primary deadline is November 21, 2026. If needed, an extended deadline will run through December 7, 2026. Notifications go out the week of December 7.
Which track should I submit to?
Choose the role your session serves best: MHAP, Practice Manager/COO, Owner/CEO, or Solo Practice. Organizers may suggest a different track if it fits the audience better.
Will my session offer CE credit?
Some sessions may be approved for NBCC continuing education credit through SemiPrivatePractice.com, LLC (ACEP No. 7233). CE-appropriate topics connect clearly to professional counseling practice: clinical skills, ethics, documentation, supervision, compliance, or practice systems that support ethical client care.
Sessions focused mainly on business growth, marketing, or revenue can still be excellent POW! sessions but may not qualify for CE.
Can I mention my own product or service?
Yes, when it's relevant, but content must be educational first. Presentations should not function as sales pitches. Companies that want to showcase a product can do that through a sponsorship demo slot.
How do I submit a session?
Complete the POW! 2027 Jotform and select the speaker option. The same form handles sponsor reservations.
What happens after I'm accepted?
Confirm within 72 hours, then send your bio, headshot, title, and description within 7 days. Draft materials are due January 26 for content and CE review, the tech check is February 4, and final slides are due February 11.
Will sessions be recorded?
Sessions may be recorded and shared with registered attendees. Materials should be accessible, readable, and designed for a virtual audience.

What sponsorship levels are available?

How is a Track Sponsor different from a Product Demonstration?
A Track Sponsor gets exclusive branding across one role-based track, premium Expo placement, a Thursday demo with Q&A, follow-up email inclusion, and a chat room open for the whole event. A Product Demonstration includes a 30-minute demo, an Expo booth, and a chat room open for a two-hour block.
How many Track Sponsorships are available?
Each of the four tracks has one exclusive sponsor. Only 1 Track Sponsor spot remains, so reserve soon if you want it.
When do product demos happen?
Track Sponsor demos are scheduled on Thursday, February 25. Product Demonstration slots run Thursday or Friday based on availability.
What's included in post-event analytics?
Track Sponsor and Product Demonstration packages include post-event analytics with lead generation, so you can follow up with interested attendees.
